Meet Sara
Sara Ginn πSheffield
About Me
I'm Sara, and I'm a qualified Outdoor Leader, Life & Career Coach and Artist. Before I set up Peak and Bloom, I had a career in talent acquisition and recruitment for over 16 years. I loved helping people unlock their potential in their career, and identify what their next steps look like and how to achieve them. Working alongside them, I helped to match their motivations and skills to a career that they would love doing. I wanted to lean into this person centred aspect of my career more, so I trained as a coach enabling me to focus more of my time on helping people in a similar way. Working with them to find joy in their life and career. I aimed to create a supportive space for people feeling stuck or overwhelmed, to talk things through and figure out their next steps. Thatβs when I first launched Peak and Bloom.
How did I get into the outdoors?
Iβve always had a love for the outdoors and hiking. I started to realise that being outdoors in nature brings with it a natural feeling of βspaceβ and clarity, which paired brilliantly with life and career coaching. So, I started to dream about weaving in the aspect of taking coaching into the outdoors. I often find that the change of scenery, natural space, and fresh air gives our brain the reboot it needs for unwinding personal challenges and identifying with clarity your next steps.
In 2024 Peak and Bloom became my full-time business, originally focusing on my career coaching. However, in 2025 I achieved my Hill and Moorland Leader qualification, meaning I could now deliver my vision of personal coaching in the outdoors, along with other outdoor offerings. Now, I offer guided walks, outdoor coaching and wellbeing experiences in the Peak District designed to help you slow down, reconnect and find clarity through nature. Whether through creativity, reflection, connection or coaching, every experience is rooted in the belief that getting outdoors helps us feel more like ourselves again.
They are opportunities to step away from busy routines, screens and overwhelm, and give yourself space to think clearly, breathe deeply and notice the small things that bring joy. From mindful group hikes and reflective wellbeing walks to creative sketching hikes and outdoor life coaching sessions, each experience is designed to support both mental and emotional wellbeing through movement and connection with nature.
Favourite adventure or experience?
A core memory is linked to the first time I experienced Stanage Edge - it captured me in every way possible. Everything I'm working toward now, can be linked to that moment. The life adventure seedlings were planted that day. Following that - my Hill and Moorland Leader assessment, and passing it, was a definite top experience for me!
One mindset or bit of kit I always take with me?
Snacks is a given - because outdoors snacks with a view are elite. But other than all my usual safety gear, I always bring my approach - and that is to slow down, take it all in, and let nature speak to me. The outdoors always has something to say.
What am I looking for?
I'm looking to connect with individuals who are looking to find clarity and calm through the outdoors through any of the experiences I have to offer - whether that is career coaching on the hill, creative time to doodle outdoors, a more intentional wellbeing experience rooted in reflection or just to find a community of like minded people looking to the outdoors to help them feel better. This applies to workplace wellbeing experiences - if you or your team would benefit from this, let's chat!
And finally, if you run a community already and you think what I'm doing would be a great thing for it - I'm ready to collaborate!
